spyware & malware removal
Spyware is a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), or you find that surfing the internet has got slower, your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging.

e-masque can detect and remove most spyware and malware, fix registry information stopping these programs from reinstalling themselves when you restart your computer.

virus removal
What is a Virus? A virus is a manmade program or piece of code that causes an unexpected, usually negative, event. Viruses are often disguised games or images with clever marketing titles such as "Me, nude."

What is a Worm? Computer Worms are viruses that reside in the active memory of a computer and duplicate themselves. They may send copies of themselves to other computers, such as through email or Internet Relay Chat (IRC).

What is a Trojan Horse? A Trojan horse program is a malicious program that pretends to be a benign application; a Trojan horse program purposefully does something the user does not expect. Trojans are not viruses since they do not replicate, but Trojan horse programs can be just as destructive.

Many people use the term to refer only to non-replicating malicious programs, thus making a distinction between Trojans and viruses.

e-masque can delete or clean most infected files. We can help set your system up to protect your information and prevent viruses from infecting your system in the future.

We can they buy teh individual parts and build the system for you, creating a machine that is designed for your specific needs, rather than buying an off-the-shelf computer which may not be exactly what you need, whether it is lacking in memory to run a specific game, or not enough disc space to install a specific program.

networking & security
As networks become an integral part of everyone's lives, advanced network security technologies are being developed to protect data and preserve privacy, especially Internet privacy.

If you're not a computer, networking, or security guru, you might find a number of terms and acronyms perplexing. Just trying to read basic information you might come across TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IDS, ISP, P2P, IM, etc., etc.. The world of computer technology is second only to the government / military when it comes to creating confusing terms and meaningless jumbles of letters to make things "easier".

Do you have a wireless network at home? Did you buy a wireless router or home wireless networking "kit" and just plug it in? If so, you are probably enjoying the many benefits and freedoms that come with not being tied down to a specific wired network connection. It is a beautiful thing. However, if you didn't take the time to implement some basic security measures, there is no telling how many other people are enjoying your benefits and freedoms.

Need help configuring your network, wired or wireless? or just connecting multiple computers to the internet?

Would you like to be able to move files from one computer to another and can't?

We can help you configure and/or set-up your own network and implement security features that will help protect and secure your own data and information.
